COPD1_1.JPGWhere will your donation go?

Thankyou for offering to support 'F of A UK's work. We welcome donations of whatever size to assist with our current projects or programmes.

If you would prefer to give little and often you might consider our regular giving programme which helps provide free and subsidised treatment for the poorest patients,

How do i donate?

You can:

1) Send a cheque / postal order made out to 'Friends of Antara UK' to our main address. If you have time it would help us if you could send it along with this donation form (print out and fill in) which will also allow you to Gift Aid your contribution - see below.

2) Pay on-line by "pay-pal" (see right) using a debit or credit card.

How much of my donation will go to Antara?

New_Picture_1_1.jpgFriends of Antara UK is entirely voluntary run so we keep our administration costs to a mimimum. Where possible we fundraise and seek other sources of support for our costs. For every pound you donate over 99 pence will go to Antara. You can view our annual accounts in our annual reports .

Can I use CAF cheques and Gift Aid?

As a registered charity, Friends of Antara UK can accept Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) cheques and you may gift aid your donation (please print and return this form with your donation)*

What is Gift Aid? If you are a UK taxpayer you can request that your donation is gift-aided. This means that for every £1 you donate the charity receives a further 28p from the government (Inland Revenue). All you need to do is fill in our donation form.

Regular Giving

Often it is easier  to give little but often. A regular donation of as little as £3 a month can a child out of poverty and mental illness

Antara does not wish to become entirely dependent upon its supporters. It seeks a sustainable way to continue providing vital services to the most deprived patients, and you can help in a unique way.

How will my regular donations help?

Antara will save contributions in a special Children’s fund, from which a steady stream of  funds and interest can be used for many years,  to subsidise treatment, food and accommodation or long term rehabilitation of the poorest child patients. A regular donation of as little as £3 a month, for a year or more, will allow Antara to provide one person’s mental healthcare free of charge at any time thereafter.

How much should i give?

CGC_04_1_1.jpg£3 / month - Community support for one child patient
As little as £3 /month for one year or more will mean Antara can support one child living in the community free of charge for years to come. See our 'Safe Motherhood and Child Survival' programme

Children__s_OPD__Victoria_Singh__2007__1.jpg£5/ month - Medication and Outpatient support for one child patient
If you can spare £5 /month for one year or more this will generate a fund to subsidise the medication, assessment and ongoing care of one child patient in the      'F of A UK' Children's Outpatient Department.

New_Picture__15__1.jpg£10/month - A bed for one child patient
A regular donation of £10 /month for one year or more will allow Antara to offer a bed on the 'F of A UK' Children's Ward free of charge to any child who needs it.

How do make a regular donation?

Regular donations are made by standing order from your bank to our bank. Once started a regular amount will go to 'F of A UK' on whichever day on the month you wish. You are free to cancel the order at any time. You need to fill in our regular giving form.

New_Picture__26__1_1.jpegHow will I know its helping?

As a regular donor you will recieve updates on the progress of the children's services and individual patients, though you will not be linked to a specific child.

‘Friends of Antara UK’ feels it is important that donors have a personal awareness of the children they are assisting, but wishes to avoid implications of  dependency, unfair to both giver and beneficiaries.
