Raising Awareness
Workshops and Presentations
Requesting a Presentation or Workshop
'Friends of Antara UK' regularly gives workshops and presentations in schools, universities, places of worship, and other community venues. You can see examples in our resources or news sections.
We welcome opportunities to talk about:
- Our work in supporting Antara
- Volunteering
- Poverty, mental health and health inequalities.
If you would like us to give a talk to your organisation or in your area please contact us as early as possible.
Giving a presentation
If you feel bold enough why not give a talk or workshop yourself? Our resources section contains a number of power-point presentations and workshop exercises. However, these can not be altered in any way so we ask you to contact us if you are planning an event and we can help provide materials.
Resources and Stalls
You will find electronic verions of our leaflets, appeals sheets, posters, reports and other detailed literature in the resources section of this website.
You are free to print and copy these materials (see creative commons license) and they are ideal for stalls or other awareness raising activities.
If you would like hard copies of posters or literature don't hesitate to contact us.
Newsletter and Annual Reports
We produce a newsletter every 4-6 months, you can read these on-line or download them from our resources section.
Our Annual reports are also available in the resources section. You may find the annual reports useful if you are looking for:
- A summary of developments at Antara in the last year
- A summary of Friends of Antara UK's activities.
- Details of organisational developments.
- Our annual accounts.
- Our aims and objectives for the coming year.
